Plotea is for writing inside a narrative world: characters, places, items and events live in an encyclopedia your text links to, and interactive stories are built as a flow of scenes with choices and conditions.

Features

• Worldbuilding

  Characters, places, items, events and notes, with custom types for whatever your world needs.

• @ references

  Type @ and pick: a reference shows a small card on hover and leaves backlinks in the encyclopedia.

• Alias detection

  Plotea spots names and aliases in plain text and offers to turn them into references.

• Boards

  A world board with your stories and how they connect, plus a board per story for ideas with text, images and frames.

• Scene flow

  Sequences, choices, conditions and variables, with a play mode to try the story right in the editor.

• Manuscript and export

  Export to EPUB, DOCX, PDF and Markdown, or to Godot (JSON plus a GDScript addon) to use the story in a game.

• Your files, open

  Everything is saved as version-friendly text, in a folder or a single .plo file that can be encrypted.
